SunWire Energy’s solar professionals are available to visit your location and properly assess your energy needs, explain our development process, and discuss your intended project goals. Our basic process is as follows:
Step 1: Site Review
We conduct an initial review of the site to determine the practical eligibility for a solar system. During the visit we will consider the layout of the lot, the condition of the roof and the orientation of the property in an effort to achieve maximum performance for your new system. We will discuss possible solutions and gather the utility bills for the previous 12 months.
Step 2: Savings and Cost Estimation
After a visit to your property our consultants will perform a review of your current energy costs to and establish a baseline of savings you might expect from a solar system at your location. We then prepare a preliminary analysis that illustrates the proposed system location, size and cost estimates. We’ll help optimize a system that works for your home or business given your budget and intended savings.
Step 3: System Design
Once you’ve selected your system size, we work with our experienced engineers to design a solution that meets your project criteria. Our team uses common sense in the process, not only considering functional and efficiency factors, but also ensuring that your new system blends into your property aesthetics, meets neighborhood guidelines, and falls well within your budget. This portion of the process may take a few weeks depending on the complexity of the site, the system, and the use of any third party financing.
Step 4: System Approvals
SunWire Energy will handle all the paperwork necessary to receive any and all eligible cash rebates and incentives from local, state, and federal governments. We also manage the necessary interconnection permits with your local utility provider and county offices.
Step 5: System Installation
Throughout your installation, one of our professionals will oversee the on-site installation from start to finish: from managing our approved subcontractors, utility company technicians, electricians, and our own installers. A typical installation is surprisingly quick, taking an average of one to three days for residential systems, and one to four weeks for commercial depending on the size of the system. Our team will pose only a minimum impact on your daily routine since most work will be conducted on the property’s exterior.
